Established on August 28, 2004, as a chapter of ATASC (Association of Turkish-Americans of Southern California), OCTAA has remained steadfast in its commitment to fostering unity and enrichment within the Turkish-American community. We eagerly anticipate your presence at our upcoming events this year and extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and active participation.
To represent the Turkish-American community in Orange County with integrity and pride;
To enlighten the broader community about Turkish culture, heritage, and history;
To actively encourage participation in a myriad of OCTAA and ATASC initiatives;
To serve as a bridge between OCTAA members and ATASC, fostering strong connections;
To facilitate intercultural exchange and dialogue on matters relevant to the community;
To organize engaging recreational activities and champion Turkish cultural appreciation;
To forge enduring bonds of friendship, fellowship, and mutual understanding among individuals;
To collaborate closely with civic agencies and fellow non-profit organizations, fostering stronger relationships;
To pioneer the establishment of a Turkish-American Student Association at universities across Orange County.
