SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Open Nominations & Elections for EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

OCTAA Board of Directors is now accepting nominations for six (6) Executive Committee positions for the 2007 term until Friday, December 8, 2006, at 5 pm.  We have elected four new Board members on November 12, 2006.  The new Board will elect qualified individuals to serve in the following positions that make up the Executive Committee:

§         President (also serves on the Board of Directors)

§         Vice President

§         Executive Secretary

§         Treasurer (also serves on the Board of Directors)

§         Membership Chair

§         Social Events Chair 

The nominees must be current members in good standing (i.e., paid membership through 2007).  For additional information regarding the duties of the Executive Committee members, please refer to the current Constitution & Bylaws (click here for the Constitution & Bylaws).

If you are interested in serving on the Executive Committee, please email a “Statement of Interest” describing the position(s) you are seeking and why you are interested to Michelle Deniz Drousé at michelle.drouse@octaa.org.  You will be notified of the date of the Executive Committee elections to be held during a Board meeting no later than the second week of December 2006.
