Open Nominations/Elections for President
OPEN NOMINATIONS FOR PRESIDENT (BOARD OF DIRECTORS/EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE)
Effective immediately, OCTAA is looking for nominations for the position of President, which serves on the Board of Directors as well as the Executive Committee during the remainder of the 2008 term. The President is responsible fo the day-to-day operations, executive officers, and committees and serves on the Board of Directors that ensures oversight of OCTAA policies and the budget. The nominees must be members in good standing (i.e., paid membership through 2008) and Orange County residents. For additional information regarding the duties of the Board of Directors, please refer to the Constitution & Bylaws ( click here for the Constitution & Bylaws).
Please identify candidates who are interested in serving as the President (you may also nominate yourself). Please e-mail Mehmet Tazebay by Friday (mtazebay@yahoo.com), May 19, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. with the following information:
- Name of Nominee/Candidate;
- Name of Nominator;
- “Statement of Interest” indicating why he/she is interested in serving President; and
- Photograph in .jpg, .bmp, .gif, or .pdf format.
The Board of Directors will hold elections during an upcoming meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
